The Lehman Trilogy, Sam Mendes’ brilliant production, transfers from The National Theatre to the West End with a limited season at The Piccadilly Theatre London from May 2019.
This 5 star show takes the story by Stefano Massini and packs it into a performance lasting three hours and twenty minutes (with two intervals).
The Lehman Trilogy at Piccadilly Theatre will feature Simon Russell Beale, Adam Godley and Ben Miles reprising their acclaimed roles as the Lehman Brothers, and their sons and grandsons.
On a cold September morning in 1844 a young man from Bavaria stands on a New York dockside, dreaming of a new life in the new world. He is joined by his two brothers and an American epic begins. 163 years later, the firm they establish – Lehman Brothers – spectacularly collapses into bankruptcy, and triggers the largest financial crisis in history.
Told in three parts on a single evening, The Lehman Trilogy is a story of a family and a company that changed the world.
The Lehman Trilogy at Piccadilly Theatre is booking from Saturday 11 May until Saturday 3 August 2019. All Saturdays (except for 11May) have matinee shows at 1:00 PM as well as standard evening performances at 7:00 PM.
